I didn't think of this myself. I've seen this elsewhere, but I was doing a macro project for school and decided to shoot some digital as well. =] It turned out okay, and I really love the concept of the picture. I love love and romance, and to show emotion through my photography (not that I'm feeling this way right now or anything, hehe). I hope you enjoy! :aww:

update 10/02/05: changed the black and white to an orange tone to give a warmer, happier feel =]

Oh. That's great. You said you got the idea elsewhere. Do you know who the photographer was who came up with it? It's brilliant. You did a really good job with it. Love everything. What book is that? lol. Two thumbs up!

It's doubtful a photographer came up with it. It's probably been known for years and years that rings on book creases make heart-shaped shadows and the pages of a book can make a heart if you're creative enough to see it. I've seen it in pictures everywhere but they bore me, so I did it at a different angle than straight on for once.

I guess I thought that you saw a picture and tried to do your own version of it. You're probably right about that. It just takes a shadow, right. :XD: The angle you used was definitely not boring.

Both shots turned out great. I'm glad these are in black and white too, they look a lot better than if they were in color in my opinion. Love the lighting on the first shot too.
